Assign to Committee

The assign to committee action allows the IACUC protocol to be assigned to an IACUC committee for a full board review. The committee selection serves as a precursor to make many other actions that can be performed.

Action attributes	Description
Who can perform action	IACUC Administrators are allowed to perform this action.
Protocol state prior to action	Prior to the action being performed, the protocol must be in the following state: The protocol status must be Submitted to IACUC. The submission status can be in any state.
Protocol state after action	After the action is performed The protocol status does not change. The submission status changes to Submitted to Committee if the status prior to committee assignment was Pending,

Field	Description
Committee	Select the desired committee from the list of names as appropriate. Use the drop-down menu by clicking the down arrow to display the list, and then click on an item in the list to highlight and select it to populate the box with your selection.
Submit	Click the submit button to generate the action request.
