Used by two or more parties to agree to specific activities, collaborations, and partnerships, an MOU sets the terms of the parties’ relationship, but generally does not include the provision of funding to be handled by a grant or contract arrangement or other procurement. May also be referred to as a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
