Questionnaire Functionality with Grants.gov Forms

Questionnaire functionality is now available in Proposal Development with the 3.1 release of Streamlyne Research. This includes some Grants.gov forms that are driven by the Questionnaire module rather than the Y/N Questions for their information mapping. As new forms and form versions are released they’ll be programmed to utilize Questionnaire instead of YNQ so eventually the use of YNQ can be phased out entirely (once the older form versions that utilize YNQ are retired by GG).

If you attach a Grants.gov opportunity that contains any of the above forms a corresponding Questionnaire for that specific form will be available in the Questions tab as a separate panel (as seen in below screenshot). These questionnaires are required and must be completed before the user can print the associated form or submit the proposal into routing.

See the specific form instructions within this guide for further direction on form completion and population.

Refer to: “Appendix B: Grants.gov Form-Specific Instructions & Mapping Information”.

If you replace the Grants.gov opportunity with another or delete the existing GG opportunity the previously associated questionnaires will be removed and/or replaced with any new questionnaires, if applicable.

Some questions may lead to additional questions depending on your answers within the Questionnaire. For example, if you answer YES to ‘Is this a Senior Fellowship Application?’ an additional 4 questions regarding a senior application become available to the user.
