A custom attribute is a data element needed by an institution that is not available out of the box from the application. A Custom Attribute Document allows you to set up a document that is used for the maintenance of custom attributes that can be used elsewhere within the Streamlyne Research system.
The Edit Custom Attribute Document section of the Custom Attribute Document maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields. It allows you to assign a number that is to be used for unique identification of a custom attribute, and further, to associate it with an existing document type code. Optional characteristics can be set by using the optional fields provided.
