The IACUC Protocol Review Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs. The IACUC Protocol Review Type values are available for selection within the Submission Review Type field within the IACUC protocol actions page of the IACUC protocol.
Researcher View versus Administrator View: The IACUC Protocol Review Type reference table can be configured to control which values are available only to the administrators and which are available to both administrators and researchers. The Global Flag indicator can be set to Yes or No for each value within IACUC Protocol Review Type. A Global Flag value of Yes indicates that the Protocol Review Type e.g. Full Committee Review is available to both administrators and researchers. A Global Flag value of No indicates that the Protocol Review Type e.g. IACUC Review Not Required is available only for administrators. |
Existing Value Modification: Existing values may be edited as long as the description is synonymous with the original term. New values can be added. You should not delete existing values. |
