Notes

The Notes section of the Comments, Notes & Attachments page displays when the note was entered, who entered it, what it is about, and provides further action options.

Access

Access to the Notes section is defined by user role:

      Award Maintainer:  add and/or view

      Award Viewer:  view only

Column

Description

Add:

The entry row label and column heading for previously-added numbered line items.

Posted Timestamp

The time and date that the add action was performed.

Author

The user name of the person who added the note text line item.

Note Topic

Required.  Enter text that briefly identifies the main topic the note is about.

Note Text

The actual textual note information.  Click within the text box (or press the tab key from a previous field) to reposition the cursor so that it is within the field, and then type (or paste from virtual clipboard) to enter text in the box as necessary to provide the appropriate information.  Click the expand text  icon to display a pop-up window with an expanded text entry area if you want more screen real estate to type in, and then click the continue button to close the window and return.  After text has been entered and saved, click the green arrow icon to read it in its entirety in the larger pop-up window, and then click the close button to close the window and return.

Restricted?

Select this to restrict the visibility of the note by other users.  Click within the checkbox to select the item.  A check mark appears within the checkbox to indicate the item is selected.  Click within the checkbox again to clear the mark and deselect the item.

Actions

Click the add button to add your row entry as a numbered line item row below.  Click the update view button to
