From a high level, Streamlyne Research consists of four main modules covering the following four functional subject matter areas: Proposal Preparation and Submission; Proposal Tracking and Negotiation; Awards, Subawards, Report Tracking and Close-Out; and Research Compliance that interact with each other. Shared amongst them all are Database, Infrastructure, Streamlyne platform, Reporting and Workflow-related components.

Streamlyne Streamlyne Research is also an ongoing software project, and therefore it is helpful to know a little bit about the project itself that produces the software you will be using.

The Streamlyne Research is the organization that is responsible for coordinating the software project, so similarly it is helpful for you to know a little bit about this organization as well.

The next two subsections provide a brief summary of the Foundation and the Project.
