Procedure specific section (e.g. Drugs: Analgesics)

 

Upon selecting a procedure within Included categories, the system generates the procedure specific section below the Included Categories section. The user needs to indicate the Species/Group on which the procedure will be performed and also answer any specific questions defined for the procedure by the institution.

Ø The investigator first needs to select the Species and the experimental group on which the procedure will be performed and click on the “add” action.

After the add action is performed the system, will display the count of the species (retrieved from data entered in the Species/Group tab) that can be updated and saved.

Ø The system also generates procedure specific question within the Custom Data section. The questions such as (Route of Administration, when Used asked for the procedure category of Drugs) are configurable by the implementing institution. 

Different types of questions can be asked for different procedure categories. The Kuali Coeus system provides out of the Box the following Custom Data questions for these procedure categories.
